The Radius Fabrications GU Patrol Factory Location Airbox is designed to fit seamlessly in the factory position of TD42-powered GU Patrols. Constructed from premium stainless steel, this airbox provides a high-quality, performance-driven replacement for the OEM system while maintaining a clean, factory-style layout under the bonnet.

This airbox uses a Ryco panel filter and retains the factory mounting location and orientation for easy installation and servicing.

A: No, this airbox does not suit TB48 petrol models. It is designed for the TD42 diesel engine only.

Q: Will it fit with a dual battery setup?
A: No, the airbox will not fit with a dual battery in the engine bay. You will need to either relocate your secondary battery or select our Pod Airbox instead.

Q: Does it come with a filter?
A: Yes, each unit is supplied with a Ryco high-quality panel filter.

Q: Is piping from the airbox to turbo included?
A: No, the kit does not include any piping from the airbox to the turbo. Custom piping may be required depending on your setup.

Q: Does it fit the factory snorkel or Safari snorkel?
A: Yes, our airbox is fabricated to suit the factory snorkel position and will align with most snorkel systems. However, some setups may require minor trimming or pipe modification for a perfect fit.

Q: Are any modifications required for installation?
A: The airbox fits the factory mounting points. However, if your vehicle has aftermarket accessories or a tight dual battery arrangement, minor trimming or repositioning may be necessary.

Q: Is this suitable for ZD30 or LS conversions?
A: No, this airbox is designed specifically for TD42 diesel models. Other engine conversions may require a custom setup.
